Google API Disclosure

SmartMaster's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Restricted Scope Usage

We exclusively request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata scope. This is used to create a private, hidden folder in your personal Google Drive for storing encrypted faculty records (PAN, Bank Account, Aadhar).

Zero-Access Commitment

The AppData folder is inaccessible to the developers and other third-party applications. Data is encrypted locally using your personal PIN before transmission, ensuring that only you can access your records.

1. Developer Access & Sensitive Data

We cannot see your private sensitive data. Because records are stored in your personal Google Drive and encrypted with your PIN, SmartMaster developers have absolute zero visibility into your faculty's financial or personal records.

2. Data Management & Deletion

Users have complete control over their data lifecycle:

  • Cloud Identifiers: Can be deleted using the "Wipe Local Records" tool in the dashboard settings.
  • Vault Records: Can be removed by manually deleting the hidden AppData contents or disconnecting the app via Google Account Security settings.
