When you save a teacher's PAN number, the app generates a random Master Key. Your data is scrambled using this key before it even leaves your device.

To keep the Master Key safe, we "wrap" it using your Private PIN. We only save the wrapped version in your Google Drive.

When you enter your PIN, the app unwraps the Master Key locally. This key then unscrambles your records so you can see them.

We split your records into two halves to keep you safe:
Only stores names and designations to allow the dashboard to function.

Stores PAN, Aadhar, and Bank details in a file only you can access.

SmartMaster uses the drive.appdata folder. This folder is invisible to you in the standard Drive homepage, preventing accidental deletions while ensuring only our authorized app can read it.

Even if someone theoretically gained access to your Google account, they would still need your Personal PIN to decrypt the records inside the hidden vault. Your data is double-locked.
